3.2.12 Save Session

The save session button allows you to save your data if you have made any changes while the data was loaded. This includes options that are listed in the opt button to the right of the save session button, as shown below.

Save Session options

SAVE SESSION OPTIONS controls the way in which the data is saved:

  • without saving: allows you to run tensor fitting without saving the images. This may be useful for testing purposes, as it will complete faster without having to save. Select this option BEFORE hitting the process tensor button for tensor estimation.
  • save using default names: This is the default option. It will use the name of the listfile as provided to the software, and will automatically append either _L0, _N1, _R1, _iR1, or _LU depending on the tensor fitting option chosen.
  • save using user defined names: this allows the user to define a different name for the processed data. Once the process tensor button has been clicked, a window will pop up asking the user to provide a name. Provide a name without extension, as shown in the figure below.

  • Processed Output Endianism largely exists for legacy reasons, as most systems are currently little endian. However, the following options exist:
    • Machine endianism: is the default value, and will auto detect if your machine is big or little endian and use that endianism for output images.
    • BIG endian, LITTLE endian: you can manually set your endianism to BIG or LITTLE as desired for output images.
  • readme: contains instructions on the save session options.
  • done: click this button when you are done setting your saving options.
